Apple iPod Shuffle Price Cut

Don’t say Apple hasn’t every done anything nice for you. The company announced today that it was cutting the price of its 1-gigabyte iPod Shuffle — to a surprisingly cheap price. We say surprisingly because it’s not often that the words "cheap" and "affordable" go with the word "Apple."

Unless you’re buying an actual apple, of course.

Apple releases new pink iPod

img11Apple has announced today the addition of a new pink iPod nano, available immediately in a 8GB model — and the ladies can hardly contain their pink-driven excitement.

The release is appropriately timed with the quiet approach of Valentine’s Day — a holiday that, luckily, is not at all about mass consumerism aimed to drive those who have no significant other into a strong depression…

But we digress — yay, pink nano!

HTC Shift UMPC coming February 19th

img17Remember the HTC’s Shift? No? That’s because the UMPC appeared nearly a year ago and was due to go on sale in November of 2007 — except that it wasn’t. Now, however, rumor has it that it’ll be appearing in the UK later this month, and users will be able to buy it from online retailer, Expansys on February 19th.

The touchscreen-tiny-laptop-Frankenstein-monster is set to sell for $1720, making it not only very hip, but also very expensive.
