Garmin Nuvifone - Cell Phone Announced

Garmin, the company that brings you just about every GPS on the market, is entering into the world of mobile phones — because hey, it’s the hip thing to do.

Their first mobile phone will be called the nüvifone and will help people to, quote "connect, communicate, and navigate their life." It will also speak to you in a slightly irritated woman’s voice.

Garmin Nuvi 780 Announced at CES

img1Garmin used the Pre-CES announcement fest to announce an update to one of its best selling lineups - the Nuvi.

The newly announced Nuvi 780 features a 4.3 inch screen, MSN Direct (3 month subscription included) and highly detailed City Navigator NT road maps. The device is compatible with audible.com’s subscription service, allowing for easy downloads to the device.
